1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Checkers Arena ("the Application" or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Application. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including players, visitors, and others who access or use the Application.

2. Description of Service

Checkers Arena is a competitive checkers game application that provides:

  • Multiplayer checkers matches
  • Coin-based league competitions
  • Virtual currency system for in-game transactions
  • Player rankings and leaderboards
  • Gameplay customization options
  • Club features and social interactions
  • Performance tracking and statistics

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Application, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Checkers Arena. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the Application.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Application for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Engage in cheating, hacking, or exploiting bugs or glitches
  • Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the Application
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Application or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Application
  • Use offensive, abusive, or inappropriate language or content
  • Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Application

5. Virtual Currency and In-App Purchases

5.1 Virtual Currency

Checkers Arena uses virtual currency that can be earned through gameplay or purchased through in-app purchases. Virtual currency has no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or transferred between accounts.

5.2 Purchases

All in-app purchases are processed through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). You agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the applicable app store. All sales are final unless required by law.

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests for in-app purchases must be submitted through your app store's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

6. Intellectual Property

The Application, including all content, features, functionality, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Mivo Solutions Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Application without our prior written consent.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or submit through the Application. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with the Application. You represent that you have the right to grant this license.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

8.1 Service Availability

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mivo Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Application.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Application at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Application will immediately cease, and we may delete your account and data.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the Application and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Rwanda. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Application shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Rwanda, as applicable.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
